Budgies Update: The End

and now here's the final update (i guess)..
coz i already had enough of that cursed feeling...


10th Clutch:

by June 22, 2015..
for this clutch, here's the supposed first egg..
just like the previous eggs, it got ruined & thrown out of the nest box.. 
there's nothing left inside..
the eggshell was cracked open, and then stuffed with wood shavings (i don't know how those silly birds make those shavings stick on the eggshell)...

here's another egg which i found on that same day of June 22, 2015..
so that's 2 cracked eggs in just one day...

by June 24, 2015..
another cracked egg, and it was stuck in Yellow-Brown's feathers..
i had to hit it with warm water, by using a water gun, just to remove it from her...

by July 2, 2015..
probably the 4th egg from this clutch...

and by July 5, 2015..
another egg..
based on my count, the 10th clutch ended up with 5 eggs, none of which was converted into a chick...


11th Clutch:

by August 14, 2015..
one egg down...

by August 19, 2015..
two eggs down...

and by August 26, 2015..
that's three eggs down..
this is the very last egg which i got from Yellow-Brown & Yellow-Girl's pair..
the 11th clutch ended with 3 failed eggs...


Setting Free:

by September 29, 2015..
after discovering that i was probably sick..
i decided to just set my silly budgies free (coz they're only contributing to my depression, since their a bunch of failures)..
i intentionally left the doors of their cage open..
Yellow-Girl (the cock) seems to be good at flying, so he was able to flew far away from our house (i don't know if he's still alive up to this day)...

as for Yellow-Brown (the hen)..
well, she couldn't fly, so she was stranded in our backyard..
i didn't bother to feed her or give her a drink, and she was just out there looting food for survival...

and by October 6, 2015..
Yellow-Brown finally died (probably due to lack of water)..
she lasted for only 1 & 1/2 years under my care...


so this is it for my budgie-breeding career..
everything about me is cursed..
and all i could do is to just let them go, to somehow lighten my burden...
