Budgies Update: February Egg Failure & An Unborn Chick

here are some new update(s) regarding my pet budgies..
these involve details from the 5th to the 7th (the latest) clutch...

5th Clutch:

by November 21, 2014..
the supposed final 2 eggs for the 5th clutch got thrown out from the nest box...

6th Clutch:

by December 20, 2014..
a supposed first egg for the 6th clutch got thrown out from the next box...

by January 3, 2015..
the final 2 eggs for the 6th clutch (still) got dumped...

but prior to this, i discovered 2 other broken (cracked) eggs inside the nest box..
so i assumed there were about 5 eggs for the 6th clutch which also ended up as a failure just like the first 5 clutches... T,T

7th Clutch:

by January 23, 2015..
i discovered an abnormal looking egg that got thrown out of the nest box..
i believe this is one of the first 2 eggs for the 7th clutch..
it was deformed, had pointed ends, and kinda looked like a sea shell..
Yellow-Brown (the hen) probably had a hard time laying this kind...

same date..
another egg that i found on the ground just below my budgies' cage..
also looked a bit abnormal, so i was kinda worried that the hen might be having problem with her health..
this one looked smaller compared to budgie eggs of average size, and aside from that, the egg shell seemed very thin (sorry, i wasn't able to provide a more comparative photo)...

by February 13, 2015..
another cracked egg got thrown out...

also from February 13, 2015..
this one got thrown into the budgies' water container...

by February 14, 2015..
upon checking the water container, since it was scheduled to be replaced that day..
i found out that the egg shell that fell there actually had a mass inside it..
and upon checking closely, i was surprised to see that it was a chick...

here's another photo of that unborn budgie chick, after i have removed its remaining egg shell and stretched its body out a bit..
this was after approximately 7 clutches and 36 eggs..
it seemed like it was already about to come out - big enough to come out..
but unfortunately it still turned out as a failure for some reason which i do not know..
of course, i was saddened again (after all the breeding failures).. T,T
but it was amazing, it was a wonderful experience..
at least i know now that my pair of budgies can really produce a chick, and not just some unfertilized eggs all the time...

this is the closest that i can get to becoming a somewhat successful budgie breeder..
i guess this is a sign of hope for me..
so i wish that Yellow-Girl and Yellow-Brown would be successful next time... :)
