Room Evaluation:
this is my second time at Victoria Court Gil Puyat, and my first time to get a Standard Room...
i was not aiming for any type of room in particular, and just wanted an affordable one for a 24-hour stay..
so i just checked in at Room 46..
it's a small but pricey room..
here's VC Gil Puyat Room 46's latest rate:
Php 645 - regular 3 hours stay
Php 1,390 - 12-hour rate (Monday to Thursday)
Php 1,590 - 12-hour rate (Friday to Sunday)
Php 1,940 - 24-hour rate (Monday to Thursday)
Php 2,230 - 24-hour rate (Friday to Sunday)
Php 235 - overtime charge per hourand here's VC Hillcrest Room 303's rate during April of 2018:
Php 645 - regular 4 hours stay
Php 1,290 - 12 hours
Php 1,795 - 24 hours
Php 280 - overtime charge per hour
well, i can't say if the pricing is still the same at VC Hillcrest after almost 2 years since my last visit there..
but in simple computation, for me, that means an increase of Php 145 compared to my usual budget for the accommodation...
the TV is in front of the bed..
but sadly, they no longer seem to have any adult channel...
it was late for me to realize that this room doesn't have a separate dining area, and so the dresser area would have to serve that purpose..
it's my first time to be in a VC room that doesn't have a dining table...
this Standard Room has a minibar, unlike most Standard Rooms at VC Hillcrest..
and it also has a safe, which is bigger than the common hotel safes that i usually see..
it's my first time to have a safe at Victoria Court...
it's a spacious one..
the towels are not the usual signatured ones, and in contrast, the extra towels that you can pay for are the ones with the motel's brand on them...
something which i've never encountered at VC Hillcrest...
then here's a comparison for some of the food & beverage's rate:
Victoria Court Gil Puyat (January 2020)
Php 195 - Tapa (Tapsilog Meal, but it goes with a FREE drink now)
Php 50 - Coffee
Victoria Court Hillcrest (April 2018)
Php 180 - Tapa (Tapsilog Meal)
Php 45 - Coffeethese are my usual order, so even though the price went up, it's like i was still able to save Php 30..
and the 12 or 24-hour accommodation still goes with a FREE meal for 2..
what i did during my last stay was to have them served during dinner..
i ate one of the servings, and reserved the other one for my breakfast the following day..
that way, i had more time to sleep, and was able to eat as early as 4:00 AM..
no need to wait until my food was ready, and i don't care even if i had to eat a cold meal...
as for the changes in the quality of service in Victoria Court Gil Puyat..
for the good part, they are trying to go environmental-friendly now..
their complimentary toothbrushes are no longer made of plastic material, they are wooden now, bamboo if i'm not mistaken..
they are no longer serving water in plastic bottles, i didn't even see a bottled water in their menu..
what they do now is to serve a pitcher of clean water..
for the sort of negative part..
my companions had some issue with their food, with some random metal stuff being somewhere they shouldn't be..
unlike in my previous stay, the staff don't automatically clean up the anteroom in case they bring in something for me and they notice that i've left some stuff (usually dining utensils) in there..
some of the staff also don't automatically enter the anteroom even if i left it open, and so they are repeatedly pressing the doorbell..
lastly, i'm really saddened that they already have an extra charge of Php 600 for every additional guest that would occupy the room, even if it's just a short stay..
i've been staying at Victoria Court for my adventures for many times now, and have not been charged an extra even if i meetup with a number of ladies..
before, it was my way to maximize the accommodation..
but now, it doesn't look practical anymore - well unless the ladies won't bother to order anything...

Performance Evaluation:
i had 10 days of abstinence before my 19th Adventure..
